Who I am Today
At Last! The Wind in my Sails!
Not accepting the current circumstances and making the decision to push forward helped me achieve a new definition of success and fulfillment in my personal and professional life.
Through the health issues, relationship heartache and work challenges I realized that I had to find a new way of being.
To paraphrase Einstein, you can’t solve the problem with the same mind that created it. I knew in that moment that, If I wanted to change my life, I had to change my thinking, my beliefs about my future and my entire value system.
I decided to evaluate who I was and who I wanted to become. I decided to run an experiment and see if I could turn the breakdown into a breakthrough.
So, I started to pay attention to me. I wanted to understand myself: who I am and what makes me tick.
The situations that cause me to lose myself. Why I don’t see me and when I don’t listen to my voice. I started to ask myself some vital questions. How was I showing up in my relationships? Was I letting the hurts and disappointments of the past shape my future? How could I change my “programming” to become more than I ever was? What had I come here to do…what was my true purpose in life?
Looking back, I could see the claw marks I left on the walls where I didn’t want to let go. I taught myself to let go. I uncovered and deleted negative thoughts that were holding me back. I identified belief systems that no longer served me. I brought myself back to health by changing my thoughts, my beliefs and my environment.
The principles I now teach helped me change my life, and indirectly the lives of the people I love and care for the most. Through the journey from the “past-me to the present-me” I learned to trust life and that no matter what, if I’m willing, I can turn my life around. Stagnation is no longer an option.
I learned to embrace my mistakes and not to let my regrets hold me back. I learned to visit the darkest corners of my shadow and I learned to open up to the world of infinite possibilities. I learned to forgive myself and to forgive others. Above all, I learned to be grateful for all I have, all I am and for all that I am becoming.
This time around, living feels incredibly fun, safe and extremely rewarding! Life happens and flows with ease. When I trust the experience the right people, things and circumstances arrive at the right time and in the right place. Never before have I felt so close to my myself , my daughter, family, and friends, as I do now.
Never before, have I felt so alive and deeply fulfilled. I love life, I love the life I am living and I am passionate about helping others create the life they love living.
