However, is it actually possible to change your whole destiny’s trajectory only by adopting a positive mindset? Well yes. Short of.

So, let’s see how you can use a positive mindset to swift the route of your life to a more fulfilling, prosperous and happy one.

What is the impact of a positive mindset?

Have you ever thought about how your thinking determines your actions? Here is an example. Let’s assume you are stuck in traffic and you running late for your work.

You start feeling anxious about your delay, imagining your boss’s reaction, the possibility of missing that meeting, and having to stay up late to the office. Your mood is getting worse.

You arrive angry at work and your whole day is probably going to be gloomy due to your morning mishap. This is what focusing on the bad does to you, my friend.

Now, let’s assume that despite the traffic you choose to stay positive. There is nothing you can do to control this external condition so you start noticing the bright light of thr sun that is shining and reminds you of your last vacation near the beach.

You put your favorite music station on the radio while you take delight in that tasteful sip of coffee you grasped on the way. Then you remember that you have a podcast you wanted to listen to, so you put your earphones on after rescheduling your appointments.

By the time you arrive at the office, you feel calm, richer in knowledge, and ready to kick off your working day with energy.

Now, do you see the difference?
Imagine if a shift of focus in that simple instance can change your whole attitude for the day and what it can do for your whole life…

You may be familiar with Odysseus’s story of returning to his homeland, Ithaca, after the Trojan War. If it hadn’t been for his positive mindset followed by concrete positive actions he wouldn’t have made it.

Every obstacle, he came across, he remained focused on what he could do to overcome it and used all his available resources without succumbing to negativity, victimhood, or leaving himself at the mercy of each situation.

(Please permit my “obsession” with Ancient Greek history, but Greece is my country of origin and I love all of my ancestors’ heritage).

Just imagine what he would do if he had adopted a negative mindset; I bet he wouldn’t have gone far enough or even drowned at some point.

Now, back to the present day…. You can be the Odysseus of your life if you choose to be.

Before diving into the beneficial effects of positive thinking, you should get one thing straight: optimism and hopefulness don’t mean not being realistic or living in your own utopian world away from problems and other people.

Instead, they mean approaching life’s daily challenges on a positive note.
Positive thoughts create a domino effect within you and your surroundings. Healthy, loving, and joyful thoughts come back to you like an echo.

First, they make you feel better and as a result, you behave better. When you vibrate positivity you are more kind and understanding to others and so your chances of having your needs met increase. 

You also become more attractive to people and pleasant to be around which opens the doors for more opportunities on every level.

Secondly, they widen your perspective and enhance your creativity and coping skills. So, if you have to deal with a problem you don’t just blame your circumstances but you rewind yourself and adjust accordingly to find the proper solution.

Key 3.

In addition, being and feeling optimistic increases your stakes of achieving your goals. You have more faith in yourself and the people you interact with and expect that everything will work out fine in the end.
